Year 6 Aim High Workshop 21st January

‘Year 6 recently took part in an inspiring Aim High English writing workshop led by acclaimed author Cliff McNish, best known for ‘The Doomspell trilogy’.

During the session, Cliff shared expert advice on how to develop creativity in storytelling, encouraging pupils to think deeply about characters, atmosphere, and original ideas. He spoke about how authors build tension, bring stories to life and find inspiration for their writing.

The pupils were highly engaged throughout the workshop and picked up a range of invaluable tips to help them improve their own creative writing. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to learn directly from a professional author and to feel inspired and confident in their writing abilities.
