Centre of the Cell Trip

Years 5 and 6 had an exciting and inspiring school trip to ‘Centre of the Cell’, where they spent the day exploring hands-on science inside a real research environment.

The pupils were thrilled to learn from scientists at Queen Mary University, who shared their expertise and answered brilliant questions throughout the visit. Children had the opportunity to try on real lab gear, handle scientific apparatus, and experience what it feels like to work in a laboratory setting. One of the highlights of the day was the STEM Pod, an immersive zone filled with innovative technology, video, and interactive games designed to spark curiosity and imagination.

The trip left everyone buzzing with new knowledge, and perhaps even inspired a few future scientists!
