World Kindness Day

As part of Anti-Bullying Week, and in celebration of World Kindness Day, pupils from Years 1 to 6 took part in a special assembly exploring this year’s theme: The Power of Good.

Together, the children shared thoughtful ideas about what it truly means to be kind, from using gentle words to including others, helping at home, and showing care in the community. Each class made a kindness pledge, promising to carry their good deeds beyond the school gates.

Who knows — perhaps a few parents enjoyed a moment of relaxation while pupils helped out with the laundry, tidied their rooms, or even lent a hand with the cooking! Whatever form it took, our school certainly felt the power of kindness this week.
