Year 1 & 2 visit the V&A Museum

Year 1 and 2 recently enjoyed a memorable visit to the Young V&A Museum to celebrate Black History and Diversity. The trip provided an exciting opportunity for pupils to explore art, culture, and history through the museum’s engaging exhibits.

As part of their visit, the children took part in a scavenger hunt, searching for items that made music, featured African patterns, were made in other countries, or sparkled as if ready for a carnival. This activity encouraged pupils to observe closely, think creatively, and engage fully with their surroundings.

Pupils thoroughly enjoyed exploring the museum’s interactive exhibits. The day was both educational and enjoyable, providing a valuable experience for all.
