Year 7's Maths Homework

Our Year 7 students have recently completed an exciting Maths homework project, designing their dream bedroom! With a maximum budget of £2000, pupils were challenged to plan their ideal space by researching furniture and décor, finding real prices for each item, and working out how to make it all fit within their room layout.

Each student produced a bird’s-eye view drawing showing where everything would go, combining creativity with practical thinking and budgeting skills. The quality of the work was exceptional, from stylish, modern designs to cosy and colourful rooms, students demonstrated impressive attention to detail and thoughtful use of space. The students then had to present their projects to their class mates and did so with such confidence! Well done to all our talented Year 7s for their hard work, creativity, and financial awareness in this project.
