Early Years become Detectives!
We’ve had detectives on the case in Early Years this week!
After reading the story “Detective Dog”, the children were eager to put their own detective skills to the test and help solve an exciting mystery, discovering who had eaten our biscuits!
During our Forest School session, the children transformed into real-life detectives, exploring the woodland carefully and looking for clues hidden all around. They searched high and low, working together to find envelopes containing numbers and special keys. Each detective had a turn to test their key on the mysterious lock, building lots of excitement and teamwork along the way.
Avi’s key number 13 fit perfectly and opened the magic box! Inside, to everyone’s delight, were chocolate coins as a special reward for their brilliant detective work.
Well done, Early Years detectives, case closed!
