EYFS Author Visit

The local author Ian Brown visited us to share his journey to becoming an author. He spoke about how he was inspired by his own tortoise, Albert 5 years ago which led him to write his first book.

He read them the story about Albert being upside down and how the world is seen by Albert when upside down. He also shared his new book ‘Albert Supersize’ where Albert dreamed of a dinosaur!

The story was interacting and engaging for the children as they joined in with cues to ‘roar’ and ‘hoorah’ throughout the story.
