Languages Day Assembly

This week we celebrated Languages Day with an engaging assembly led by pupils from our GCSE Languages Classes.

The assembly highlighted the joy and importance of learning languages, showing how communication connects people across countries and cultures. The pupils were shown songs from well-known films—but with a twist!

Each piece was performed in a different language, and the pupils had the challenge of guessing which language they were hearing. Pupils also shared inspiring messages about why learning another language matters today. They spoke about the opportunities it brings, not only for travel and careers, but also for understanding and appreciating different cultures.
