Year 11 Ecology Trip to Hyde Park

Our Year 11 Set 1 pupils recently took part in their Ecology required practical trip to Hyde Park, where they investigated population distribution in both pond and meadow habitats.

They also enjoyed some pond dipping, discovering newts, leeches, and a variety of other fascinating organisms in the water. During the lunch break, the group had a lively football match, refereed by the Head of Seniors, Mr Clair, which brought plenty of smiles and team spirit.

Another highlight of the day was solving a crossword together on the overground, where members of the public commended their enthusiasm and impeccable behaviour. Throughout the trip, the pupils demonstrated curiosity, maturity, and joy in learning, making them an absolute credit to the school.
