Junior School Orchestra Project

Junior children in Years 5 and 6 will be taking part in the music department's new Orchestra Project. 

Year 5 children will be learning to play the cornet this year with the help of our excellent brass teacher, Mr Olsson, and Year 6 are learning to play the violin with the assistance of our fantastic violin teacher, Mr Roy.

The children in both classes were very excited as they received their instruments, and within half an hour, they were producing excellent musical sounds.

We are very much looking forward to showcasing their talents in the summer concert later this year!

If your child wishes to take up any orchestral instrument with one of our peripatetic teachers, don't hesitate to get in touch with Mrs Scott or Miss Ried, and we can arrange this.
