Year 4 Science Lesson
As part of their Science lesson this week, the Year 4 pupils took their learning outside the classroom and went on a walk around the local area. The aim of the walk was to recap what they had learnt during the previous term by identifying examples of invertebrates, vertebrates, and flowering and non-flowering plants in the local area. They were amazed by how much wildlife and the variety of plants they could find, discovering far more examples than they expected, which made the walk even more exciting! It was a great opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-life setting while enjoying the fresh air and working together as young scientists. The Year 4 Pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning outdoors, and it was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and curious about the natural world around them.
