Year 6 Spinney Visit

Year 6 pupils recently enjoyed a special visit to The Spinney, where they spent the afternoon designing Valentine’s Day cards with the residents. It was a wonderful opportunity for different generations to come together, share stories and get creative. The pupils represented the school brilliantly, showing maturity, patience, and kindness throughout the visit. They were fully engaged in conversations and worked thoughtfully alongside the residents to create colourful and imaginative cards.

Residents commented on how impressed they were with the pupils’ creativity and positive attitude, and many said how much they enjoyed the chance to spend time together. The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and a real sense of community. It was a rewarding experience for everyone involved, and Year 6 should feel proud of the warmth and respect they showed during such a meaningful visit.
