Year 1 & 2 Science Museum Trip

Year 1 and 2 pupils enjoyed a fun and educational trip to the Science Museum as part of their history topic, The History of Flight. During the visit, the children explored how flight has changed over time and learned about key figures including the Montgolfier brothers, the Wright brothers, Bessie Coleman, Amelia Earhart and Time Peake. 

The pupils took part in an exciting treasure hunt activity, where they searched the museum to find important facts and complete learning objectives linked to their classroom work. The day was filled with curiosity, enthusiasm and lots of learning, and the children represented the school brilliantly. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring history to life!
