Juniors visit The Spinney
Years 2, 3 and 4 had a wonderful afternoon when they visited The Spinney Care Home to spend time with the residents. The visit was filled with laughter, conversation, and plenty of friendly competition as everyone came together for a game of bingo. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed playing alongside the residents, and congratulations go to our two pupil bingo winners who were delighted with their success! Two of our pupils also had the opportunity to take on the important role of bingo caller, confidently announcing and helping to keep the game running smoothly.
After bingo, the pupils spent time talking to the residents, creating meaningful connections and sharing stories across generations. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on everyone's faces as they enjoyed each other's company. To end the visit on, the pupils performed a song for the residents, who were delighted by their enthusiastic performance. We are incredibly proud of our pupils for the kindness, confidence, and respect they showed throughout the visit. We look forward to visiting again soon.
