Normanhurst School celebrates outstanding GCSE results

Normanhurst School is delighted to announce an excellent set of GCSE results for the 2026 cohort, reflecting high-quality teaching and determined pupil effort across the school.

The Head, Mrs Job, said:
‘I am immensely proud of our pupils for their perseverance and determination in reaching these impressive milestones. These well-deserved results reflect pupils’ hard work, progress and commitment. My sincere thanks go to our dedicated teachers and support staff, whose expertise and care have been central to this success.’

Results at a Glance:

• 53% of grades were awarded at 9-7
• 97% of grades were awarded at 9-4, including English and mathematics.
• Almost all subjects achieved 100% grades awarded at 9–4: Art, Graphics, Drama, English Language, Further Maths, Computer Science, Spanish, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, PE, Music, Sociology and History.

Particular congratulations to Maya, Nicolas, Matias, Laila, Shlok, Dhru, Zack and Nimay among many pupils who achieved top grades and have every reason to be proud.

Pupils are moving on to an excellent range of sixth-form colleges and schools to continue their studies. We wish them every success as they take the next steps in their education and careers.
