The Spinney Care Home Visit

Our pupils enjoyed a wonderful visit to The Spinney Care Home last week, where they performed a selection of musical pieces for the residents. Bringing along a variety of musical instruments as well as their singing voices, the children performed with great enthusiasm, confidence and pride, giving each performance their very best. The visit created a warm and uplifting atmosphere, with many of the residents smiling, clapping along and happily joining in with some of the familiar songs. It was heart-warming to see music bringing everyone together and creating such special moments of shared enjoyment.

The residents and staff were full of praise for our talented pupils, commenting on both their musical ability and their kindness and confidence. They were incredibly grateful for the time the children spent with them and for the joy their performances brought to the home. These visits have been a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to develop their performance skills while making meaningful connections within the local community. They have shown great respect, compassion and maturity throughout each visit, and they should all be very proud of the positive impact they have made. This marked our final visit to The Spinney Care Home for this academic year. We would like to thank the residents and staff for their warm welcome and continued support throughout the year. We are already looking forward to returning in September, when we hope to share more laughter and memorable moments together.
