Year 6 Graduation
Last week, our Year 6 pupils celebrated their Graduation from Primary School in a wonderful evening filled with pride, laughter, and celebration. Surrounded by family members, friends, and staff, the pupils marked the end of an important chapter in their educational journey and reflected on the many happy memories they have created during their time at Normanhurst. The graduation ceremony was made possible through the careful planning, organisation, and hard work of our dedicated prefect team. Their efforts ensured that the evening ran smoothly and created a memorable occasion for everyone in attendance. A particularly heart-warming part of the ceremony was the presentation of pupil-nominated awards. These special awards celebrated the unique qualities, talents, and friendships within the year group, providing plenty of smiles and laughter as classmates recognised one another's achievements and personalities. Pupils were also presented with their Yearbooks and Leavers' Hoodies that will remind them of their time at Normanhurst and the friendships they have formed throughout their primary years.
Following the formal ceremony, the celebrations continued with an evening of music, dancing, and the opportunity for pupils to spend quality time together before embarking on the next stage of their education. The refreshments proved to be a huge hit, with the waffle maker and candy floss machine undoubtedly stealing the show and adding an extra touch of fun! We are immensely proud of everything our Year 6 pupils have achieved during their time at Normanhurst. They have grown into confident, caring, and capable young people, and we have every confidence that they will embrace the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. We wish each and every one of them every success and happiness as they move on to the next chapter of their educational journey.
Congratulations to the Normanhurst Class of 2026, we look forward to seeing all that you achieve in the years to come!
