ISA National Athletics Championships

On Monday 15 June, we travelled to the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, an internationally renowned venue that has hosted some of the world's elite athletics competitions, for the ISA National Athletics Championships.

In the Year 9 Shot Put competition, Ayaan qualified for the national event following a throw of over 10 metres. At the championships, he produced an excellent throw of 9.87m to finish in 4th place, narrowly missing out on a medal by just 3cm.

The Year 10 High Jump was fiercely contested. Raghave performed superbly, clearing 1.61m to secure 5th place. He came agonisingly close to clearing 1.66m, which would have moved him further up the standings.

Both athletes represented the school with great pride and should be congratulated on their outstanding performances at a national level.
