Year 11's Last Day

There was a real sense of occasion as our Year 11 pupils marked their final day in school before the start of their examinations. The atmosphere throughout the morning was filled with excitement, reflection, and no small amount of emotion.

We were treated to some truly memorable speeches from our Head Prefects, who spoke with warmth, humour, and sincerity about their time at school. Their words captured the shared experiences, friendships, and growth that have defined this year group. A highlight was the presentation of leavers’ hoodies to every pupil, a proud moment that symbolised their journey and the strong sense of community they have built together.

The celebrations continued as the pupils headed out together for breakfast, enjoying time with friends and creating lasting memories ahead of the challenges to come. The tradition of shirt signing brought everyone together once more. Pupils buzzed with laughter and heartfelt goodbyes. The emotion in the air was unmistakable, shared by both pupils and staff alike, a reflection of the strong relationships formed over the years.

This year group has worked incredibly hard, showing resilience and determination throughout their time here. As they now turn their focus to exams, we wish them every success.
