Year 1 Grow Plants

As part of their Science Topic on ‘Planting’ Year 1 planted sunflower seeds, radish seeds and peas just before the Easter break to observe changes over time.

This week the children were so excited to see how most of their seeds have grown into plants. There has been no growth as yet for the peas.

Year 1 have now planted them outside in the Early Years Garden and watered them well. They will continue to observe and record their growth over time.
