Year 6 Projects
This term, our Year 6 pupils turned into historians as they spent their holiday break researching significant figures who shaped our world. From world leaders to record-breaking adventurers, the diversity of choices was amazing. The children returned to school eager to showcase their findings through a variety of creative mediums.
We saw expertly designed posters and engaging PowerPoint presentations that brought the stories of these icons to life. During lessons, pupils took on the role of teachers, sharing their newfound knowledge with their peers and sparking fascinating classroom discussions. Some of the remarkable figures studied included: Nelson Mandela, Nikola Tesla, Marie Curie, Jessica Watson, Winston Churchill and even Wojtek the Bear!
It was wonderful to see the children so passionate about their independent research. Well done, Year 6!
