TFL Road Safety Workshop

Our Year 3 and 4 pupils recently took part in a hands‑on Road Safety Workshop provided by TfL, working in small groups to explore how to stay safe when travelling around our local area. The session combined practical activities with real‑life scenarios, giving pupils the chance to apply their learning in meaningful and memorable ways.

As a school, we believe in giving children rich, real‑world experiences that help them grow in confidence and independence. Opportunities like this workshop allow pupils to practise important life skills beyond the classroom, encouraging them to think carefully, make sensible decisions and understand how to keep themselves and others safe.

During the workshop, pupils ventured out into the local streets to put their new knowledge into action. They observed crossings, practised safe walking routines and discussed how to navigate busy areas responsibly. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and thoughtful behaviour made us incredibly proud. It was a valuable learning experience and a wonderful example of how our pupils rise to new challenges with maturity and curiosity.
