EYFS Chinese New Year 2026

Our Early Years children had the most wonderful afternoon exploring traditions inspired by the Lunar New Year. They chopped vegetables for a stir-fry, crafted beautiful lanterns, created colourful paper dragons, and danced proudly around their playground in their very own dragon costume.

There was also imaginative play in their kitchen with noodles and chopsticks, the children loved the hands-on activities.

It was a fantastic way to learn, celebrate and experience the spirit of the New Year together.
