Nina (Year 6) and Dylan (Year 9) have been very busy over their Summer holiday with the performances and theatre work!
Nina performed at the Millfield Theatre with her Stagecoach class where she performed three pieces; she also received the certificate for her RSL Grade2 Musical Theatre Performance Award where she achieved a Merit! Both Nina and Dylan attended the Musical Theatre holiday course at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. Dylan played Detective Tony in the play Sister Act – they both had a fantastic time! They also both had an amazing opportunity to take part in an ‘Industry Experience Week’ which was a partnership between Stagecoach and Audition Ready. In less than five days, they put together an amazing performance with workshops lead by industry professionals such as Millie O’Connell (Six The Musical), Claire Cassidy (Matilda the Musical the movie) Choreographer Jane McMurtie (Newsies) and representatives from some of the UK’s top talent agencies. They also got to work with Jack Ryder (EastEnders), Greg Arrowsmith (Musical Director for Hairspray) and Rosie O’Hare (Hairspray). They are very grateful for their opportunities and learnt so much from these amazing professionals! We are very proud of Nina and Dylan’s achievements!
