Pupils at Normanhurst School celebrated World Downs Syndrome Day on 21.03.24 by wearing mismatched socks and also celebrated World Autism Day a few days earlier than the official April date by wearing Blue.
Pupils learnt more about Downs Syndrome by reading a book by George Webster, from CBeebies and watching some Myth Busting Videos.
For World Autism Day pupils were given some more information about Autism, ways to include people with autism and how to make them feel comfortable in new situations.
