Hama Bead Club

Hama Bead club has been a real hit this year, with pupils showing great focus and concentration to make intricate and delicate designs. Some of the designs this week were birds, Harry Potter characters, flowers, unicorns, and so much more. Well done children, keep up the good work!

International World Peace Day

Reception Go On a Bear Hunt!

Reception loved creating a story map of the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ and retelling it by looking at the pictures they drew. Pupils worked together very well, taking it in turns to add to the map, and paying attention to their friends’ drawings. Great work Reception!

Light Bulb Moments For Year 4

Reception Become Engineers For A Very Important Picnic

This morning, Reception heard the story ‘The Teddy Bear’s Picnic,’ followed by an activity in which they were given supplies and had to try to create a bridge so the teddy bears could cross the river safely.  They deliberated carefully and decided to work together to build a large bridge out of lolly pop sticks and cups. Luckily, the teddy bears arrived safely at their picnic!
