On Monday we handed over a cheque to the Honeypot Charity for £1300! A representative came to school and spoke to the children about the charity and how this money will help. The charity has been working to enhance the lives of young carers aged 5-12 since 1996. They give young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home, and provides regular respite breaks and on-going outreach support.
This donation was achieved through a series of fundraising efforts such as cake sales, a sponsored walk, non-uniform days, raffles and various other activities. We couldn’t have done it without your donations, so thank you!
