On Monday afternoon, our Year 4 pupil had the wonderful opportunity to extend their DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time outside the classroom with a visit to Chingford Library. It was an enriching experience for the pupils, who displayed exemplary behaviour throughout the trip. During their time at the Library, the children enthusiastically explored the library and selected books that captured their interest. The calm environment of the library added a special touch to their reading time. Just before they left, Miss Stone read a story to them in the Children’s Library. She was proud of the Year 4 students for their excellent behaviour and enthusiasm for reading. This visit not only fostered a love for books but also allowed the children to experience the joys of the library as a valuable community resource.
