Normanhurst School held our annual Senior Speech Day and Prize Giving, the perfect opportunity to celebrate the many achievements and successes of our pupils throughout the year.
This year our guest speaker was Lily Bissett, Director of People, Finance & Operations at The Difference, an educational charity working with vulnerderable children in schools. Lily also sits on the management committee at Highams Park Food Aid, a local food bank Normanhurst has had a partnership with in recent years.
As well as the huge array of prizes that were awarded, the event was filled with many performances and musical numbers, such as ‘Ode to Joy’ by our String Group, ‘Follow that Star’ from our Senior Choir, and vocal solo of ‘Where is the Love’ from Lachlan in Year 6.
We are very proud of our Head Prefects who both gave very moving speeches about their time at Normanhurst. We wish the new Head Prefects, House Captains and Prefects the best of luck next year.
It was a fantastic afternoon full of proud pupils, staff, friends and family. Congratulations to all of our prize winners!
