This afternoon, the children learnt about and explored the Hindu festival of ‘Holi’. They discovered that the festival is a celebration of spring, love, and new life, and watched videos of people celebrating by throwing coloured powder. The children then participated in a carousel of activities, including creating a colourful snack, making streamers, and covering cut-outs of people with coloured powder.
