Both the students in Early Years and Year 6 have enjoyed learning all about ‘habitats’ and ‘bones’. During the science lesson, they explored different habitats including temperate, desert and grassland. The children enjoyed using natural materials like twigs and leaves to create habitats for our toy animals.
The Early Years department came together for a special challenge. The children chose an animal and worked in small groups to create a habitat using a range of resources.
Year 6 refreshed their memory on the names and positions of bones in the body. As well as, understanding the circulatory system.
It was lovely to see the children working in teams.
