On Transition Day, Year 5 had a feel of what it would be like to be in Year 6 for the day. They ended their day with a picnic in Epping Forest and participated in some team building games.
The first game they played was a version of an Ancient Mayan game known as Pok-a-Tok, they stuck to the rules as closely as they could, but nobody was sacrificed at the end of the game as they would have traditionally been! They then had to work as a team to complete many different challenges using only certain body parts or movements.
They had a lovely time and the sun shined all afternoon, they were very tired on the walk back. Year 5 cannot wait to be Year 6 from September!
