On Thursday 27 June the Year 1 pupils took a trip down to the O2 to participate in the Aviation Learning Experience at the Emirates Aviation Museum. While there, the group was able to take part in a range of teaching opportunities; some of these included learning about how a jet engine works, watching a plane land via simulator, and experiencing the smells found in Dubai, where the Emirates A380 Airbus is made and flies to.
After all of that learning the class took a ride on the cable cars from the O2 across the river to the Royal Docks and back, where they were able to view some of the sights! A fantastic time was had by all on a day with glorious weather!
