In this engaging and interactive poetry workshop, the pupils of Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 celebrated Black History Month by exploring the richness of Black culture and history. Hosted by the fabulous poet and rapper Kimba, the pupils took part in a series of fun activities and guided discussions, students learnt about influential figures, events, and themes that have shaped the Black experience. They then create their own poems inspired by what they’ve learned.
