The Early Years children had a fantastic afternoon being Scientists, exploring solids and liquids, reflections, melting, magnets as well as dissolving.
They loved playing with the ice tray, watching the ice melt and sucking up the water with giant pipettes. They built magnet towers as tall as themselves! Everyone enjoyed testing out how different materials dissolved in water and finally they spent some time drawing self-portraits from their reflections in the mirror. It was an afternoon of discovery!
