The Early Years children had a fantastic time visiting the fire station, learning the number ‘999’ and having a tour around the station. The children had great fun firing the hose and sitting in the fire engine.
We asked the children what their favourite part of the trip was and what they learnt.
“Squirting the cone with the hose.”- Henry
“When they showed us the bed where they sleep.”- Isabelle
“I liked when we went upstairs and saw the gym.”- Leo
“I liked squirting the water.”- Hermione
“I liked going on the fire engine.”- Anabelle
“Putting the helmet on.”- Jasper
“Call 999.”- Yasmeen
“We need a fire alarm.”- Adam
It was a fantastic, fun day and the children learnt a lot about fire safety!
