On Wednesday 26th January, Year 3 travelled by minibus all the way to Kew Gardens to learn about pollination and plants!
While we were there, the children attended a workshop where they learnt all about pollination and looked at pollinators at work. We also saw some plants from different countries and spent some time in the ‘Children’s Garden’.
Here is what some of the children had to say about the trip:
“I liked when we walked around Kew Gardens and saw a white flower called Snowdrops”. – Enis.
“I enjoyed the long walk!” – Noah-Hussain.
“My favourite part of the day was when I ate lunch with my friends in a café and we explored the Children’s Garden together!” – Sylvie.
