Congratulations to our Duke of Edinburgh participants. This year 18 pupils achieved their Bronze award.
The certificate evening took place in Chingford Assembly Hall and was attended by 200 participants and parents. The evening began with an introduction and welcome by Peter Fleet who is the Director of the Duke of Edinburgh in London. There was also a short presentation by Councillor Mark Rusling. In addition to the presentation of certificates there was an excellent musical performance by Chizaram Egbuziem. Our pupils were invited on stage to receive their award presented by the Mayor of Waltham Forest who also concluded with some closing remarks.
The evening was was a great way to celebrate the perseverance and teamwork demonstrated by all Duke of Edinburgh participants.
