Junior Speech Day & Prize Giving 2025

Normanhurst School held our annual Junior Speech Day and Prize Giving, the perfect opportunity to celebrate the many achievements and successes of our pupils throughout the year.

This year our guest speaker was Neelam Bhakar, a proud former Normanhurst School pupil, left Normanhurst in July 2022 to pursue A Levels in Food Technology and Business Studies at Trinity Catholic High School. Since then, she has turned her passion into a thriving venture—founding NKB Bakehouse, a bespoke baking business specialising in custom birthday cakes, cupcakes, biscuits and more. A true entrepreneur at heart, Neelam combines creativity with business acumen, and remains a dedicated supporter of Normanhurst School.

A huge well done to all of our musicians who gave some great performances. The British Sign Language Club gave a brilliant performance of ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams. The Normanhurst School Orchestra performed two wonderful pieces and our Junior Choir wowed everyone with their renditions of ‘Circle of Life’ by Elton John and ‘How Far I’ll Go’ from Moana.

It was a fantastic afternoon full of proud pupils, staff, friends and family. Congratulations to all of our prize winners!
