As part of their Science unit, ‘Living Things and Their Habitats’, Year 4 undertook an exciting trip to Lambourne End Activity Centre for pond dipping. The children spent the morning exploring the pond, where they found a whole range of creatures, from mayfly larvae to waterboatmen and dragonfly nymphs.
After having fun at the pond, the children explored the orienteering trail. Followed by a packed lunch. Finally, they spent time on the trim trail before departing back to school.
