As part of STEM fortnight, pupils from Years 3 and 4 went on an exciting trip to the Science Museum. Firstly, all pupils had an hour to tour all floors of the museum, looking at different displays and scientific models. Next, the pupils took part in an interactive Wonder Show. This focused on states of matter, light, and forces.
The children finished the trip with an hour in the Wonderlab, which was spread across seven different zones, and there were lots of opportunities to interact with real scientific phenomena. They saw lightning strike before their eyes, played with forces on giant slides and travelled through space under a canopy of stars.
