The children in the Early Years Department had a wonderful day discovering many different aspects of the festive season during their special festive fun day. There were lots of creative activities such as printing poinsettias using orange peel and leaves, making Christingles and painting golden baubles. Fascinated by the swirling snow, the children learnt about snow globes and then made their own. They even had a very special story time with Mrs Job!
The afternoon ended with a wonderful interactive and sensory storytelling session delivered by ‘Adventure Babies’ of Waltham Forest, where the Kindergarten children set off on a journey to discover the ‘Gruffalo’s Child’.
It was a wonderful day and a great start to the festive season.
