KS4 go to Paris

“During the October half term, Year 10 and 11 students, along with Mr Botha, Ms Kimpton and Ms Collins, went to Paris after the trip was delayed for 2 years. The pupils and teachers alike agreed it was the best overseas trip by far. On day one, we went to the Louvre, where we saw important historical artworks like the Mona Lisa. The Eiffel Tower was next on our list and was one of the most surreal experiences, especially when we went back at night to see it shine against the night sky. Whilst roaming the streets of Paris with a chocolat chaud in our hands, we came across the Arc De Triomphe, which was indescribably magnificent. Another of the highlights were the 360° views of Paris from the Montparnasse Rooftop Terrace and we all got to enjoy the experience together, which will remain a core memory for me. Disneyland Paris was on day two and we powered through the heavy rain going on all sorts of crazy rollercoasters and everyone agreed that you are never too old for the scrumptious Mickey Mouse pizzas that we devoured.

Paris was truly a trip to remember, but nothing can top the absolutely amazing time we got to spend with our friends and teachers for three days.”  Leiya Y11
