Each week Kindergarten enjoy a ‘Mini Artists’ session where they look at different artists and their work.
This week was all about Wassily Kandinsky, a Russian painter who explored colour. They began by learning a little about Kandinsky and looking at some of his pieces and then discussed how different colours make them feel. The children then used crayons to make their very own circle pictures which were put together to make a beautiful piece of art. Next, Kindergarten used many different sized circular objects that they found themselves and dipped them in paints to create colourful prints. It was another fun and creative afternoon!
