To finish off Science, Year 6 planted sunflower and cress seeds to learn about Growth in a more practical way. They have been sent home with their seeds to grow their own plants to bring in at the end of Summer Term. They also created a class plant that they can monitor each day and compare to their plants at home. In addition, a House Competition was held where they had to create the most creative 2D patterns and 3D shapes using lollipop sticks and plasticine. All the children got involved and come up with some very creative ideas, in the end, Warren won the 2D pattern and Connaught won the 3D shape. Well done to all of Year 6 for a fantastic week!
