Early Years Take A Trip To Italy!

Early Years have been busy discovering Italy. They started by visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa which the children went on to construct from a variety of media, they then listened to Italian music, dressed for the Venetian ball and even made their own beautiful masks.

In our water play they discovered the canals of Venice and made gondolas from fresh fruit for afternoon snack. They read the story of ‘Pinocchio’ and were inspired to became Geppetto and work together on the new woodwork bench to create a toy cart.

Tastes of Italy included Gelato and they even became chefs in a Naples pizzeria. In Rome they were gladiators at the Colosseum.

It’s safe to say the Highlight of the week was the erupting volcano that was created in science!

Ciao!
