Year 4’s Super Week

Year 4 had a super week at school. With it being Maths week they’ve taken a deep dive into all things Mathematical. The children undertook a Maths treasure hunt, which stretched and consolidated their learning of all these Maths from Y4 so far.

They have also spent the week planning a party for World Book Day. The children we given a budget of £1 per child, to create a super party for their peers. This needed to include food, drink, games, and activities. They needed to use their research skills to budget online all the provisions needed for the celebration. It was lovely to see all children get involved. With many displaying excellent leadership roles and volunteering wonderful ideas!

They also spent the week researching prominent and influential mathematicians. The children when on to create posters, presenting their them to the class in form time.

Finally, on Friday we celebrated 100 days at school this academic year. The Y4 pupils didn’t disappoint, their decorated T-shirts and jumpers were really creative.
