Year 6 spent two weeks of their Geography lessons researching and creating a presentations on a variety of Natural Disasters. They worked in pairs using the school iPads to research and design their own keynote presentations which they later presented in class to their peers.
The Year 6’s learnt many new facts about their chosen disaster as well as new skills using the keynote application. All of the pupils presented with confidence and showed great subject knowledge. The disasters chosen were volcanoes, floods, avalanches, blizzards, tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, landslides and wildfires.
Well done to the Year 6’s for all their hard work and presenting skills!
