This week the children in Early Years have been learning about Sukkot. This is a Jewish Harvest celebration. The children worked together to create ‘Sukkah’ (huts or dens) in the garden area. They used a play house frame, leaves, flowers, small branches to create these temporary dwellings and this will stay in situ for the rest of the week. The children will be using it as a home corner where they can engage in family role play.
