Year Six are learning about Light and Dark as their Science topic this term. They have been experimenting with Shadows in the classroom, working out what size and shape the shadow of the opaque object would be. They had fun drawing the predicted shadow on the table whilst also using a torch to test their predictions all whilst learning at the same time!
Pablo – I felt like the sun as I was creating shadows!
Shay – I learnt that shadows can change size when the torch is in different positions.
Selina – This lesson was very fun because we got to experiment with torches.
